1. For Second Life user, all sculpted prim that use with these technique must unwrapped their UV first. If you add sculpt mesh from Primstar script then you are ready to go just skip to read step 2. (Read how to install primstar script from here.)
Please notice that sculpted prim in this tutorial are not using Subsurf Modifier. If your model are using subsurf option you must click apply on the subsurf tab first to make all vertices able to paint. Please beware that you can’t go back running Subsurf on the same level again so make sure you already finished modeling your sculpted prim before hit the apply button. 2. Look at the menu bar under 3d workspace, click to change to Vertex Paint Mode and also change Draw Type to Shaded.
3. Click on the Painting Mask icon to make vertices visible clearly. (Shortcut: hover your mouse over 3D workspace and press “F”)
4. You can notice the color change on this mode. If your screen look similar to the right image you’re ready for to playing with vertex paint.
