Tutorial3: Preview Sculpty Texture in Second Life

Export Texture from Blender to OpensimAfter done some painting skill in Blender. You would want to save image and see how it look on real sculpted prim inside virtual world. Let’s learn to save texture from Blender and try upload into Second Life.

1. On the menu bar under UV/Image Editor click on Image > Save As..







Save Texture from Image Editor2. Put your file name in the field and click Save Image button.

Blender will save image as .TGA file which support by Second Life.










Upload Image using Second Life Viewer23. Login to Second Life and open My Inventory tab (suicase icon on the right bar).

Click File > Upload > Image then choose texture you have saved. **You need L$10 to upload each image.

Map Texture on Second Life Sculpty4. Put texture file inside Texture tab on your Sculpted Prim.
















Preview Texture in Second Life and Opensim5. Now you have it! Have a great time painting your sculpty. :)
