Even in Windows the default installed folder are different depend on you have downloaded an installer version or Zip Archive.

This tutorial using Blender 2.49

1. Run Blender and browse on top menu Help > System > System information

Blender Ready!2. Blender will start checking your system and show you a small notice after it finished.

Blender Scripting Datablock3. On the top bar click on Datablock type and change to SR.5-Scripting. This will change Blender screen into scripting style whice you need to open text file in next step.

System-Info.txt4. On the bottom-right window you should see dropdown menu showing something like TX:Text click on it and select system-info.txt instead.

Information Display in Blender5. This system-info.txt contain all infomation about your machine and Blender which include where is scripts folder located.

I found my script path. I extracted the primstar script to there..still get an error message in Blender that says Python script error check concole.
So, I copied and pasted the files from with the extracted primstar into the same script path. Same error Python Script error. When ever I start Blender the little black box says Python – Got it!

I have tried forever now, to no avail

    @joey checklist :
    - what verison of Primstart are you using?

    - Primstar script are not for Blender 2.5 only work with Blender 2.4x

    - Bake Sculptie command are use only with Sculpt Mesh. You can’t use it to bake regular mesh. Read how to add sculpt mesh from here.

    - Best way to confirm script working is to Add Sculpt Mesh and then Bake Sculptie immediately. Do not manipulate anything on sculpt mesh I found many people done something wrong while modeling and make Bake command doesn’t work so just add sculpt mesh and bake it right away to see if script working or not.

    - Blender Black Box is call “Console” when any error occur it will show information about what went wrong. Try to read info from there its might help identify your problem.

I tried finding my script file, and it does not bring it up at all in the .txt file when I am viewing it. I downloaded the .exe version of Blender and you think that the scripts folder would be with the Blender folder.

  10. Queggles says:

Oh wait, never mind. I found it.

  11. rose says:

where did you find it Queggles please, on a mac?

  12. Teardrop says:

I still cannot find mine after I did the system text. I have version 2.49 if that makes a difference…

  13. Chocolate Lemon says:

@Teardrop This tutorial is for 2.49 please look carefully it’s list under the line “Default Dir for Scripts”.

In Blender 2.5x you can customize your own script folder from preference menu.

  15. Vince says:

Why has this module not been updated to use with 2.5? it only makes sense that the newest version of blender should be able to work with SL graphics

  16. Bizniz says:
